Its not like there is limited space, just the opposite. Sorry to harp on pop-ups but come on! To have great native language input for hi efficient input for some things and then these archaic methods for adding notes and subtasks or changing task details is a real drawback. The old windows legacy app uses the 3 pane view (thank goodness) that every other program uses, but of course the board view does not work with the legacy app, so I have the web app for that view. You can't move the window, so you have to close it to see your list and then re-open the pop-up. Having pop-ups that darkens and then blocks the window I am adding details to is absurd since I can't see the task I am working on or any other information in the window that I want for the this tasks details. Middle -tasks/sections, /Right - task details. When I go back and try and add details to my tasks everything slows way down and requires way too many clicks.Īny other task/project manager uses a 3 pane view (Left control-projects, inbox, etc. Also disappointed! I got the impression this was going to be the new way forward but it appears they are clinging onto the archaic and inefficient "pop-up" window for task details!?! Todoist seems great at entering tasks, but not for brain dumps.
